Your day to day activities will include:
- Deals with troubleshooting of complex and difficult environment problems
- Applies requests for service, complex environment and system configuration changes and applies problem management and defect prevention practices
- Configuration, installation and upgrade tasks within the distributed systems environment
- Resources planning, operations and cooperation on application of projects for continual environment and procedures improvement
- Future infrastructure design and support of architects
- Deals with vendors regarding problem solving or with internal expertise groups
How your profile should look like:
- 2 or more years of MS Windows 2003/2008 server administration experience in large corporate environment (at least dozens of servers in different sites connected via WAN)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Expert skills and experience in problem determination, analysis and resolution
- Very good knowledge in designing and implementing of backup and disaster recovery concepts, security strategies, high-availability and virtualization solutions
- Deep know-how in server based computing (Citrix, MS Terminal Services)
- Experience with Citrix Presentation Server version 4.0 or higher
- Experience with Citrix XenApp version 5.0 or higher
- Understanding of deployment of applications inside Citrix farm
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
