Our client, an international company with a new shared service center located in Prague, is currently seeking an accounting expert to join their team.

Main responsibilities include the following:

- Perform the end-to-end accounting activities in the Account-to-Report processes according to corporate policies and in accordance with US GAAP standards
- Be a subject matter expert for the assigned EMEA country/ region
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, meet all corporate and regional deadlines
- Maintenance of General Ledger records in a timely and accurate manner
- Support on internal and external Audits, SOX Testing, and internal controls
- Support ongoing financial projects, transitions, and continuous process improvement

Požadavky

- At least 3 years of General Accounting experience
- Experience with statutory accounting and taxes
- Good knowledge of US-GAAP and SOX is preferred
- Hands-on experience with an ERP system like SAP or Hyperion
- Higher degree in business administration or equivalent finance specific degree, CPA/ACCA
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2+), any other European language is a plus
